Title: Dogs In A Dumpster
Tags:
Blog Entry:   This blog is about a segiment I saw on the news last night about a shelter that after the dogs were "put down" (killed is a better word). They took these lifeless bodies and just threw them out with the garbage in a dumpster. To me this was a heartbreaking story. I mean these beautiful dogs will never know what it feels like to be loved and missed by a family. They'res nobody to fall asleep with a toy they left behind, no food bowl left on the floor because you just can't bare to put them away. Nobody has a picture of these dogs on they're night stand and nobody cried over these dogs. Just think about what these dogs could've been they could've saved lives, been police or army dogs, they could've been a blind persons eyes, or a deaf persons ears. They could,ve been a sick childs best friend or the only family an elderly person had left. But I guess we will never know what these dogs could've been because no they're garbage in some landfill some where with nobody left behind to miss them. Which makes me think if they'res no one around to remember these dogs did they ever even exist. The shelter employees said its the publics fault for not getting they're pets fixed. I personally don't believe this. I mean even if every house hold pet was fixed. They're would still be breeders and if a puppy wasn't perfect it would end up in a dumpster. I don't know about the rest of you but I think the blame lies with the shelter I mean even if these dogs had to be put down (which I don't think should happen) did they then deserve to be thrown out with the days garbage. But now maybe if everyone who reads this  remembers these dogs then maybe we helped to make they're exestance and maybe someday dogs won't be considered trash. Thank you for reading     Amy Little
