Blog Entry: Hi All! Wee One is in standing-heat. Unfortunately, Clyde is still too young and inexperienced to service her. I did go get Yoda and so far thay have mated twice. I'd say there is a good chance I will have a litter on the ground by early April. Wrinkles is Yoda's daughter from the last litter and she doesn't like him at all. Yoda's parents showed me a pic of him when he was six weeks old and Wrinkles resembles him so much at that age. I do hope we can get more color this time around-I'll love them just the same either way. My biggest hope is that they are all born live and healthy- Our last litter had one still-born. The funny bit is I will be in Florida for a conference and that will leave my hubby home alone with the babies. I was alone when he went back to be with his father before he died and man was it alot of work. The puppies were one week old when he left and he was gone for two weeks. It took a couple of days for them to get to know him again. I'll only be gone 5 days, so I don't think it will be that hard to get them to love me again! Minnie isn't in heat but I'm hopeful. Currently, she is trying to horn in on Yoda and be the stud-lol! She's a little confused, I think. Oh well, maybe she'll get it figured out one day.
