So I took my girls for vaccines today and got all the way home when I looked over at Bella who's face and feet had swelled up on the car ride home. I took her back and she was given shots, stayed for a couple of hours to be watched, and sent home with medicine. Like my Bella hasn't given me enough scares lately?! Plus, the same thing happened to Cooper a couple years ago and both experiences were very scary! I cried the whole way to my vet's office! Luckily she is fine, but a scare I could have lived without!

thanks! our vet is going to give her an extra shot to keep her from having a reaction before each vaccination now. when cooper had her reaction she had been given that shot but it didn't work so cooper now gets a steriod shot before each vaccination to prevent anymore reactions!

hey! sorry to hear about bella, glad she's doing fine. its crazy with these little guys I know how u feel i went through it when my puppy shadow started his shots a few weeks back, my vet says to give them some childrens benadril an hour before an appointment if you know there gonna recieve shots to avoid any reactions, I don't know if you knew that or not but thought I should share it , well take care and your chi's too

I UNDERSTAND YOU VERY WELL. DO YOU KNOW WHAT IS MY SITUATION WITH BAMBOO. YES, I AGREE WITH YOU, IT SEEMS LIKE THIS IT WILL NEVER END. WE ARE AT 10-TH DAY OF TREATAMENT, BAMBOO IS MUCH BETTER, BUT SHE NEED THE SECOND SURGERY...I DON'T KNOW YET WHEN IT WILL BE, BECAUSE MUST TO WAIT TO HEAL A LITTLE THE FIRST. BUT THANK'S GOD, SHE IS OK FOR NOW.

SORRY FOR WHAT HAPPENED TO BELLA, BUT I'M GLAD THAT SHE IS OK AFTER ALL!
