That's what it should be called. Happy Spoilday. Yes!, today was my birthday and I got spoiled to no end. Today started off with Daddy waking me up instead of me, who usually wakes him up. He sang me "Happy Birthday", which I thought he should keep to himself, cuz his singing is horrible, BOL!~ Before heading off to class, Daddy took me out for walk and spoiled me with bunch of yummy treats. Few hours I spent myself, I slept and woke up to the noise of Daddy coming back home. My usual excitement of seeing him made him so happy and we played for little while playing my favorite game of tug & fetch. And some more treats to spoil me.
Later in the afternoon, he took me to Petsmart. Yup, you know what happened after visiting Petsmart. He went and bought me 3 brand new toys for me to play with and some more treats. No new outfits, thank the dog, BOL! Afterwards, I spent few times in the car myself while he visited few stores looking for something to get me. Visits to Walmart and few other stores, he went got me a fluffy rug which he remembered me liking it so much when we were at daddy's parents house.
Mother nature wasn't so nice to me today on my birthday, so we didn't get to go to the dogs park, so we came back home. After getting home, Daddy laid out the new rug he bought and I jumped right in, rolling myself all over and scratchin' away like I was diggin' for bones. Came dinner time, daddy decided to spoil me some more by making me some of my favorite food. Hotdogs & cheese! Mm-Mm-Mmm! He sliced up hotdog in small bite sizes and melted mozzarella cheese over the top. That was soooo~ good!!
All I gotta say,... everyday should be my birthday, but daddy tells me I might get fat and overweight if he spoils me like this everyday. "I don't mind" Anyways, I also want to thank all of my friends at Chi-time and Dogster for leaving me Happy Woofday wishes and gifts. You guys have made my day special and memorable. Thank you all so much!

Oh wow, what an honor it is to be the Dog of the Day from Dogster. Yup, I was picked the DOTD from the Dogster.com! If you aren't aware of the site, check it out if you get a chance to. Its another great site for not only Chi-lovers, but lovers of all dogs. They also have site for cats too. Anyways, I found myself late this evening that I was picked the DOTD out of hundreds of thousands of  dogs. It was quite overwhelming to receive recognitions from so many pups and to receive gifts, pup pal requests, and congrats. I've had a blast today. Felt like another Christmas, BOL! I just thought I'd share my day of joy with my fellow Chis. Have a Pawsome day everyfur!!

Today, I've had my 1st experience with the snow. Yup, all talks and complaints I been hearing from my pals at Dogster, I have finally experienced it myself. Daddy sure was excited today, cuz the school was cancelled. As for me?... not so much. I stepped outta the front door to take care of my business as usual. Seeing all these white stuff on the ground, I wasn't sure what I was getting into. Took few steps through the snow, and brrrr~, I sure didn't like it. I managed to find me trail of spots that hasn't been touched by the snow. Shivered as I walked along this path, I couldn't find myself to get around to take a little tinkle, cuz I was getting cold. What made it even worse,... I had to do #2 and couldn't find a spot that I could put my butt down without having to touch the snow that was freezing my butt off.*sniff* Wellz,... better to be a big doggie about it and suck it up. I finally managed to take care of my businesses... Daddy on a other hand, wanted to take pictures of me, I was like, "Nuuuuu, I'm cold and I wanna get back inside where its nice and warm!" Grrrrr~ He insisted he gets few pictures of me and I did my best to keep still as he took few shots.   ...Arf! I take it all back about wanting to see the snow. You all can keep it up there where it belongs, BOL!

Happy New Years to all. I hope every chi & humans had a wonderful Christmas & Happy New Year. I've decided to move my diary here instead of keepin' it buried in the blogs. Anyhow, Daddy and I had a pawsome Christmas & New Year. We spent it up in VA with daddy's parents. WE just got back few days ago and daddy is somewhat busy getting ready to go back to school. *sniff* less cuddle times... oh well, I'll give him much affection whenever he gets home from his classes as I always have. Are any of you chis made a resolution for this year? My resolutions are,.. I'm gonna try (KEYWORD: try) to be less picky when it comes to food and will eat all my food when its given to me and not spill it all over the carpet. I will try to bark less at strangers. And, I will try.... (this one is hard), but I will try to walk on my two front legs, BOL!. 'kay, that's all for now, take care all and bestest wishes in 2009!

Woohoo, what a day I had yesterday and today. First off, yesterday was the Thanksgiving day, but I'll stick with the Turkey day, cuz its all that I remember about yesterday. Daddy gave me something small to eat early in the morning and I was so hungry by the time we had the big bird. I didn't care whether it was dark or white meat, as long as I got my share of the turkey. Daddy also gave me some Ham too, yum yum! I gotta say,.. first time celebrating this Turkey Day and I loved every minute of it. Me and daddy both went into turkey coma afterwards. I fell asleep on daddy's lap. It was one of my bestest doggie day ever. Me and daddy woke up not too long after going into turkey coma. Daddy brought a plate of pumpkin pie and he gave me some to taste and Mmmm Mmmm Mmm~~ it was delicious. I'd still prefer turkey over anything, but this pumpkin pie was still good too.

Today, my daddy's mom made a stew outta the turkey leftover and daddy's mom table fed me the whole time she ate. She is so super nice to me. I love her the most, next to my daddy. Leftover or not, it was still good as it was yesterday. I will definitely look forward to next year's Thanksgiving. Yup!!

 Woof! I finally get to say what I want! YES! this is Echo! Finally daddy had good idea that I should bark out what's on my mind.  So here goes...

Its been about a week since I had my surgery. Yes... daddy finally had me neutered and took my manhood away.  It's all good though, since daddy told me its for the best. I was so much in pain after the surgery. I cried and cried all night long. Made my daddy sad. But, the day after the surgery, after I woke up, I felt a lot better. Daddy gave me some pain medications to help me feel better and gave me some yummy food. Daddy told me I couldn't go to the dog park for about a week until the wound heals up. I was going nuts, not being able to go to the park. So~ I decided to bug daddy the whole time! Although he had so much studying to do, I was bored and couldn't help it. I kept buggin' daddy while he studied and I guess it annoyed him. hehe~ Sorry daddy, but you know I love you! The other day, as usual when daddy left the house, he kept me behind one of them secure gate he put out in the hallway to block me off from entering the living room. Daddy left the latch open, thinking I won't be able to push it out the way. But I did! He came home few hours later and looked at me with a shock. Wondering how I got out and looked around to see if I made any mess. I know I'm a good boy and wouldn't do anything to upset my daddy. Daddy praised me for being a good boy and complimented me on how strong I've become. I'm sure he'll remember to lock the latch from now on..BOL hmm... weekend is almost over, but I'm so looking forward to Wednesday. Yes! Wednesday... Daddy and I are going to VA to see his parents for the Thanksgiving. This will be my 1st time celebrating Thanksgiving. I'm so looking forward to it. Daddy better feed me good!!  Hope all you Chis have a Happy Thanksgiving as well. Bark back at ya'll later!!
