Does everyonge chi burrow under the blakets? mine sleeps in bed with us and sometimes I dont know how she doesnt get squished, because I dont even know that she is there. I find this rather funny to watch her burrow. |

My Chi also sleeps in bed with us, she likes to be under blankets too. She uses her front paws and head to get under the blanket...LOL Its so cute! She is usually snuggled somewhere between me and my husband. XOXO Neena & Mommy |

B.B. burrows not only under the blankets, but also under the pillow. I think it is the softness of the flannel bedding that she enjoys! My mom and I know she is happy becasue then we hear her snoring! |

Yes Reyna loves to burrow under the blanket and pillows. She loves to sleep in the clean clothes basket. She is so funny! Papo also loves to be under the blanket but he must lay next to my hubby or I. |

Chihuahua's are burrowers - they have that instinct in them..
Emma has baby sleeping bags and she gets inside of them and balls up |

hmm.... I posted a blog about this before, but my chi isn't a burrower. Don't know why, but he hates it. I tried keeping him under the covers, but gets out and sleeps on top of the cover within few minutes. I guess he's just one of them oddballs. o_O

Peanut isn't big on sleeping under blankets, either. He likes to snuggle up on top, though. |

Yup, he loves burrowing under our comforter and it's adorable because it does look like a little mole under there.

Both of mine love to borrow under the blankets. Autumn will come to me while I'm sleeping and put her nose to mine to let me know she is there. Then I raise the blanket to let her under. She has to make sure know one else is there before going under. They are so jealous of each other! We have had terrible fights in the middle of the night because they got too close to each other. I think they burrow because they are so cold natured. |

One of my 2 chi's loves to sleep on my son's pillow and my Tojo he has to be under the cover behind my legs or when he sleeps with my boys he sleeps behind their backs. My little Tojo will wake up if someone pulls the covers off of him. I think they have a natural instinct to burrow. Butterscotch when she was 8 weeks old, 2 days after we brought her home, she got lost. We panicked and she had gotten under my bed, got in a big comforter bag and went to sleep. (The bag was opened so she wouldn't have suffocated, just wanted to let everyone know). We looked for her for 4 hours and when she woke up we were worried sick and she walked out of the bedroom and looked around like what are you looking for. After that she stayed in the living room only. I have never had a dog that small and never thought about it getting lost in my house. She didn't even weigh a pound when we brought her home. Tiny, Tiny little chi.
