Looking for Advice

I'm looking for advice for my baby Bella, who is 4 months old today.  She was the smallest of 5 babies, and is still smaller than her siblings.  Last month when I took her in for her shots, I asked the vet about her weight, as she seemed a little on the skinny side, but he said she was fine.
She seems to have a more delicate build than the others, but she is still quite a bit smaller, and my husband thinks she needs to put more weight on.  He commented last night that he thinks she is not putting on muscle mass like she should - any comments or ???
I don't know if it's related or not, but we are also having a problem with her eating poo.  We've been working on getting her and her sister potty trained, and try to keep everything picked up, but she seems to find hidden treasures and wants to eat it.  Is she possibly lacking something in her diet?  We feed them Nutra Nuggets puppy formula, which is what they all eat, in addition to some treats.  With the exception of her dad, who likes to dig up presents left by the neighborhood cats in the back yard if we don't pay attention, we've not had this problem before.  Again, any suggestions?  We really need to break this habit - quickly!!!
I would appreciate any suggestions.

She might be lacking in protein. Something to try is to feed her baby weiners-from the infant section in grocery store. We fed them to ours and changed to Vienna Sausages when they reached adulthood. Dana

As for her weight,.. she is only 4months old, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. I'm sure she'll gain good weight in no time with right amount of nutrition. As for poop eating... as we all know, its part of habit in adult animals to eat young one's poop to leave no trace of scent for predators to pick-up on. I mentioned in Rennae's blog that she should try this stuff called Forbid, which you can get it from the vet. Few sprinkles on your puppy's food and it makes their poop taste terrible. Other then that, only thing you can do is to keep eyes on her, correct her actions.

you could try her on a vitamin supplement. but i wuldnt worry to much about her weight. i have a friend who has a chi that weighs 2 1/2 pounds she is very tiny but healthy. i'm sure if ther were a problem your vet would have been concerned.
