Bentley my male chihuahua was neutered a month ago and he received dissolvable stitches. I've noticed that where the stitches were he has a very hard lump, it's almost like a rock under his skin. I'm a little worried about it. Sadie my female chihuahua had the regular stitches and she healed great and looks great. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or knows anything about it? Thanks :-)

It is probably just scar tissue. I have the same thing beneath a scar where I had a hernia repair surgery. If you are really concerned about it though, take him to the vet.

Don't worry the stitches will remove by themselves. That's why they are called disposable stitch.
