im new to this site, ive had my little ziggy for 3 months she's 3 yrs old shes in season and she wont stop crying now nothing i do will cheer her up shes been really naughtey on her lead aswell normally shes fine if any1 has any tips would be really good?

ZIGGY IS SO CUTE! YOU DON'T WANT TO HAVE PUPPIES FROM HER? BECAUSE IF YOU DO, I THINK YOU CAN TRY TO FIND A BOY FOR HER:).
I JUST NEUTERED MY TWO LITTLE GIRLS, BAMBOO AND TZONTZO, BUT THEY HAD SIX LITTERS UNTILL NOW. IT'S TRUE THAT I HAVE FOUR BOYS AND IT WAS NOT A PROBLEM...:)
IF NOT, YOU MUST NEUTER HER. IT'S MUCH GOOD FOR HER.
OR, YOU CAN ASK THE VET SOME PILLS FOR BIRTH-CONTROL, THAT MAKE STOP THE HEAT, BUT NOT FOR LONG. IN TWO, THREE MONTHS IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN. BUT THIS IS A SOLUTION FOR MOMENT.
I HOPE I WAS HELPFULLY, AND I HOPE YOU WILL UNDERSTAND MY BAD LANGUAGE, BUT YOU KNOW, I'M FROM ROMANIA. 
 

I really can't help with that....mine were fixed before that started but I was reading camitza's response and was amazed....is there really birth control for dogs???

oh oh wait but if she real small i was told to wait before they were 1 years old...not sure on that as I have only owned one baby girl and she went to soon as god seen fit.

I'm sorry that your cute little Ziggy is a bit miserable right now. :( 

 

I''m sorry to go off topic, but my chi is named Ziggy, too!!!  He's a boy and has been neutered, so no little Ziggy's from the two of them.  RATS!!

 

Here's hoping for a quick solution for the two of you.

Hi, I'm brand new to the site, I'll post my profile later but about your problem with little Ziggy, here's a solution......A little gross but it works...my Vet tolds us that  females are in pain and discomfort when they are in heat, so he told us to take an eye dropper full of warm water and put it inside the dogs va-jay-jay and the warm water should ease her discomfort. I know is hard, put it goes a lot easier with some form of lubricant......and our doggie felt better.
