Hello,
I've read that the merle coat can be related to certain genetic issues, and I believe the UK kennel clubs don't recognize it as an acceptable coloring.
Is this true? Should merles / brindles be avoided?

Not true, you can call my friend/breeders, who have both these kind of chi's. Dottie and Jim aka Dj's Ratpack @ 360-694-7655. They would be more then happy to tell you all about them. Just tell them Shellie told you to call:)

Wow -- that's really helpful. I think I'll stick to traditional colors. |
