Hi so I have a pregnant chihuahua that is due any day now, today she hasnt been hungry and has been very tired. And the puppies are moving like crazy. Shes also producing milk already.I think shell give birth soon, however her vulva isnt as swollen as when she was in heat... will this cause any problems while she is giving birth? Has this happened to anyones chis before?  

Her vulva won't swell but there will be discharge as she enters labor. She should be nesting and brooding . Do you have a box or something for her to have her babies in?

Yes I have one. She seems to be more alert now and shes eating. She did throw up 2 times earlier today.(It was foamy) I dont know what was wrong with her. I also talked to the vet, they told me she will give birth in the next 4 days. And no discharge from her vulva yet.

I saw no discharge when Pinyon had her litter. she was in labor all day and had the litter at 10;30 that night.  However my friend had a litter of minpins She had the discharge and had her pups 2 days later. Did you keep track of the days scince she was bread? Pinyon had her litter at 58 days! Good Luck!

hi how long are chihuahua pregnant. she with my boy chihuahua on april 10 and11.thankyou pipsmom1

63 days ( 9 weeks ), but puppies may be delivered between 58 and 68 days.
