Oh my gosh!  That's too funny!  Peanut'll lick anything that gets in front of his mouth, but so far it's just regular ole' licking.  Personally, I love puppy kisses, but DH really has to stretch mentally to let Peanut lick him more than once or twice.

It's not just yours...Mini does a run-by-licking an darned if she doesn't get up the nose more often then on our glasses. 

I am so happy that Lucy is normal she looooves to lick inside ears and noses. he will set on my shoulder and lick and lick no dirty ears at my house.

Nikita- my Chihuahua's name is also Peanut! He looks similar to yours, he's longhaired and chocolate with tan markings. But mine also has white coloring on his body.

 

I'm finding out that licking is a Chihuahua thing! Peanut is my first Chi and he loves to lick! He'll lick anything he can get his little tongue on. I have to be careful or he kisses me right on the lips. Yuck! lol My husband lets him do that and my lips are off limits for the rest of the day... The worst though is when he licks inside my ear. It is such a disgusting feeling!

 

I've never corrected him for licking because it's a really sweet thing that he's doing. I just move him away from the places I most dislike being licked. The rest I tolerate.

It's funny because our Bob (who doesn't have any teeth) doesn't lick much...only when he's REALLY feeling it..which isn't often..but when he does you would expect his tongue to feel like sand paper because it's sticking out all the time..but instead it feels like a wet worm LOL...I'm always so happy when he does actually WANT to lick me but then the feeling gives me the willies LOL.

 

I'm like you're husband Tzusnchis...I let them lick my mouth...I don't care! I've kissed a lot of toads in my life...my Chis aren't even close!

Brenna likes to lick. She will lick your hands or feet for an hour if you let her. I can't stand to have my feet licked! It tickles!

Autumn doesn't like at all. They are as different as night and day.

 

Getting out of the shower is fun too. Brenna love to lick the water off my feet. I have to hurry getting dried off since I can't stand her tongue running across my feet!

Do any of your chis like to bite too? Echo does the whole licking and biting thing. Bites don't hurt, but you can tell its a bite. Feel his little tiny teeth giving you a tiny pinch. He only does that to my neck though... LOL, he does love licking.. when I'm sitting on the floor with my legs out, he would lick my feet. He gets into it too. Getting his little tongue in-between my toes and all. It feels so errrrr~ sometimes, when his tongue is cold. One other place he loves to lick is my elbow crook. I don't know why, but whenever I'm laying down, he crawls up next to it and licks and licks.

You've got to post pictures of him! :D  My Peanut has a bit of white coloring, too... on the tips of his paws, on his chest, and just a little under his jaw.

Peanut will nip like Echo does on our hands and feet.  I've heard that it's a domination thing.  We are really trying to discourage it, but I don't know if it's working.  Would love advice from anyone!  Maybe it's a puppy thing and they'll outgrow it?

I think it sounds like puppy play, but I don't let my dogs touch my skin with their teeth ever. The playful nips can easily progress towards real nips. Also when they become adults they usually start to grab your arm in too rough play or trying to control.

 

If it's something that you're halfway trying to stop them from doing, then it won't work. I'm like that with some stuff where I'm not sure if I should correct it or not. But with them putting their teeth on me, it's something that I'm 100% not okay with. So whenever they do it I just say no and put them on the ground. Or if I'm walking and Peanut starts grabbing at my pant's legs I just tell him no and stop walking. I just stand there and look really boring for a few seconds so that I'm not a fun toy to play with. And of course I repeat all of that as many times as necessary.
