A NEW CHIHUAHUA AND DOGGIE NECKLACES
Posted On 03/11/2011 17:45:50

Tomarrow we will be getting a new member of the pack. Hopefully he won't be staying long. I will be takeing him to the vet next month for a check up and shots after that I will place him for adoption. I will post pics and more info tomarrow once I get him. Haveing another dog in the house will bring us up to 13 and I know it will be a lot of work but the little guy needs a home and I an't turn him away.

On other news I am trying to raise money to get my dogs spayed and neutered. I am going to try and sale some handmade  necklaces for dogs. They are all handmade with either jewelry wire or clear elastic and glass beads. I am hopeing to sale them for $7 each and no shipping if mailed in the usa, if anyone is interested please message me. You can choose either 2 or 3 colors for necklaces and sometimes a charm, I currently have crosses but will get some different ones soon.

I guess I will end this blog now, hope all is well with everyone.

Ohio's pets need your help
Posted On 03/06/2011 17:42:43

Ohio is one of 5 states that do not punish those who abuse and torture animals.

Last year Nitro's Law passed the house of representatives but was ignored or forgotten by the senate so we are back to square one.
If you live in Ohio contact a representative to let them know abuse of animals such as dogs or cats is wrong.

Nikki Moustaki, Author of 40 animal books and Dog Trainer , she also has a TV program that is on a Miami, Florida station is doing a postcard project for Nitro's Law.

If you want to help follow these steps.

Get a picture or print a picture of your dog or cat.

Use scissors to trim the picture.
Attach the picture to card stock or other thick paper using an adhesive or double sided tape.

Write at the top of the picture write "I support Nitro's Law and write your pets name.

At the bottom put your city and state.

Send the postcard to:

Pet Postcard Project
Nitro's Law
676A Ninth Avenue
New York, NY 10036

Nikki will save these postcards and give them to our Ohio House of Representatives before the Representatives. Before they vote on this law.

You can also find out more information by going to www.nikkimousaki.com

She also has a postcard project going on. For every 1 postcard received a company donates 1lb of food to shelters.

*even if you don't live in Ohio and want to help just send a postcard. It doesn't cost much and by doing so you can make a difference

Pawlease do it for Ohio and for all its pets.

Zayne's 1st bday, girls in heat, & Valentines
Posted On 02/08/2011 15:02:45

Its been busy around here my true hairless Chinese crested/chihuahua mix just turned 1 and we had a pawty for him it was a lot f fun. It's so hard to believe he is already 1. I will post a couple pics of him so you can all see him.

Maggie and Daphne are in heat again, I really wished they would have been spayed by now, I am really trying to keep then seperated but its extremely hard. Hopefull I will be able to afford to get at least one of them spayed really soon. I don't want any more babies, its just to hard to let them go and I worry about the homes I am sending them too, are they good enough?

We sent Valentines to a few of our friends we hope they arrived ok. We have other things to send out to Chris and Camitza but hven't had time yet, please be patient we have not forgotten about you.

HOPE ALL OUR FRIENDS ARE GREAT
Posted On 01/11/2011 15:33:51

Hello all, hope this blog finds all our freinds well. It's bee awhile since we have been on chihuahua time, but hopefully we can change that. Me and the pack are doing good. are newest member Eli is a little cutie I just uploaded a pic of him. Eli is Maggie and Lukes son he is 4 months old and weighs about a half pound and the reason we are keeping him is he has a large soft spot and I am not sure if it will grow over and I didn't want to take a chance on him going into a home and someone not knowing how to handle it.

It's been snowing here a lot lately so we don't go out side much, some of the dogs love running in it while the others refuse to leave the porch. How do your dogs like the snow?

Tomarrow is Drummers second b-day, and in Feburary Zayne will be one followed by Mya Bug in March.

Can't wait to hear from all our fellow chihuahua lovers.

Maggie and Daphne are both due anytime they are huge and have constant movement in they're bellies. Maggie is haveing trouble with he back leg, I hope it's not serious. If she doesn't have the babies in a couple days or her leg doesn't get better after given birth I will have to take he to the vet. She is already produceing milk and dischageing a little so I hope the puppies come soon. Daphne is good shes just big and misreble. I will keep posted on they're progress.

Do not use chemicals on your pet
Posted On 09/08/2010 17:42:13

Over the weekend my sister-n-law used Sergents gold flea and tick drops on her shih-tzu Rocky and he got very sick and could have easily died. My Zayne also got sick just from playing with Rocky. I personnally do not use any chemicals on my pets but some people do and are paying a high price for it, the life of they're pets. I found a website www.hartzvictims.org it has many horror stories about pets becomeing seriously ill and even dieing. Let me ask you is it worth it. I use garlic for fleas and ticks and it works well on my dogs. I know some people would rather use chemical products and if you are one of these people please for your pets sake talk with your vet before useing any chemical product on yur pet.

Our Life
Posted On 05/11/2010 13:13:14

I am sooooo happy to have my computer back, I missed you guys so much but I'm back now with lots of news. As you all know I had 3 litters of chi puppies and I found homes for all of them except one, I named her Mya Bug and she is the cutest and tinyest thing I have ever seen. The vet says she will never grow up to be a normel chihuahua she will alays be tiny and her skull is deformed so she cant blink her eyes so she continually has eye problems. Then she got into something that burnt her throat so for a few days she could eat nothing but yogart but she is better now. But I decided that I am going to give her the best possible life I possible can. We dont know how long shell live or how big shell grow but we just know she has lots of love to give. I will upload pics today.

Tomarrow is another big day because Digger is finally getting neutered, I worry about how he will do but I know its for the best. I hope to hear from all my friends real soon.
